Prior to joining Desmarais LLP, Mr. Macri served as a law clerk to Judge Jennifer L. Hall of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Before his clerkship, Mr. Macri worked as an associate at Rothwell, Figg, Ernst, & Manbeck, P.C. in Washington, D.C., where he primarily focused on technical areas such as chemicals, biopharmaceuticals, and medical devices, and contributed to both Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA litigation matters. Mr. Macri also previously served as a judicial intern to Judge Christopher J. Burke of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
While attending law school, Mr. Macri was actively involved in the Intellectual Property Law Society and served on the moot court board. He was a member of Drexel Law’s Giles S. Rich IP Moot Court Team, which won the Northeast Regional competition in 2022 and placed sixth at Nationals. Before law school, Mr. Macri was a Maryanoff Research Fellow at Drexel University, where he studied chemistry and focused his research on solar semiconductors.
