Cosmin Maier’s practice focuses on patent infringement litigation and
inter partes review proceedings. He has represented a wide variety of clients in high-tech areas, including wireless communications, semiconductor fabrication, power control, voltage regulation, computer architecture, digital cameras, digital signal processing, Bluetooth, multiprocessor systems, sensors, encryption, and robotics. He has experience with all aspects of patent litigation, including Markman hearings, discovery, and trial before numerous district courts, and has argued before the Federal Circuit. Since the America Invents Act has been enacted, he has been involved in multiple
inter partes review proceedings where nearly 400 claims have been found unpatentable (decisions later affirmed by the Federal Circuit).
