Before joining the firm, Mr. Lier clerked for the Hon. Pauline Newman on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. During Law school, he served as president of the NYU Law Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Society. He also served as an Executive Editor of the NYU Law Moot Court Board Journal and as a coach for the Giles S. Rich patent moot court team. Mr. Lier was also inducted into the Order of Barristers, an honorary organization, which recognizes student’s oral advocacy and brief-writing skills through law school appellate moot court programs.
