During law school, Ms. DaBiere served as Executive Editor for the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy and Senior Research Editor for the Duke Law and Technology Review. She also performed pro bono legal work for the Duke Health Justice Clinic, where she assisted several clients with end-of-life planning and securing disability benefits, and the Duke Law Innocence Project. From an academic perspective, Ms. DaBiere is interested in the intersection between national security and intellectual property rights.
During undergrad, Ms. DaBiere completed an independent research project through the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine, where she studied differential growth rates of axons in a primary neuronal culture in the presence and absence of extracellular vesicles. She was also a research assistant in a genetics lab and a biochemistry teaching assistant.
