Judicial clerkships provide attorneys with practical experience that benefits both our clients and our practice. In recognition of that experience, incoming associates joining the firm after a qualifying one-year clerkship receive a competitive clerkship bonus and credit for one associate year (e.g. an attorney clerking for one year after law school would start as a second-year associate); those joining the firm after a qualifying two-year clerkship (or two one-year clerkships) receive a larger, competitive clerkship bonus and credit for up to two associate years.
