The intellectual property research company Patexia recognized Desmarais LLP as a leading patent litigation firm and one of the most active firms handling patent lawsuits in the U.S., and Patexia named Partners John Desmarais and Leslie Spencer among the industry’s top patent litigation performers.
 
The Patexia 2021 Patent Litigation Intelligence Report, which published in January, reviewed 10,552 patent litigation cases filed in federal district court between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2020. The report analyzed 2,841 law firms involved in those cases and assessed their performance (based on 5,998 cases that resolved as of November 7, 2020).
