Desmarais LLP is pleased to announce that Lindsey Miller has been elevated to partner at the firm, effective January 1, 2021.
Ms. Miller joined Desmarais LLP in 2014. She is a member of the firm’s High-Tech and Life Sciences Practices, handling complex technology disputes. Ms. Miller represents clients in litigation on a wide range of technologies including networking equipment, collaboration platforms, data center servers, Bluetooth messaging, video conferencing systems, pharmaceutical products, and medical devices. Ms. Miller’s experience at Desmarais LLP includes successfully defending Cisco Systems against patent infringement claims brought by Uniloc over Bluetooth technology and representing GlaxoSmithKline affiliate ViiV Healthcare as patent plaintiff in an infringement lawsuit involving Gilead Sciences’ HIV-1 therapy Biktarvy®.
Ms. Miller is also a member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association and is active in several groups focused on supporting women in technology, including the ChIPs Network, Tech Up for Women, Women in Law Empowerment Forum, and Women in IP Network.
Ms. Miller earned bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and political science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2008 and obtained her law degree summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012.
