Notable Successes

Desmarais LLP’s patent litigation practice received recognition in Managing Intellectual Property’s 2024 IP Stars rankings, earning a Tier 1 ranking in “Patent Disputes” (National); a Highly Recommended ranking in “Patent Disputes” (New York); and a Recommended ranking in “Patent Disputes” (California). Managing IP also named 12 Desmarais LLP partners to its IP Stars list that was released in May 2024.
 
Managing IP uses a months-long research process to arrive at its individual and firmwide IP Stars rankings that cover six intellectual property practice areas and more than 70 jurisdictions. This includes reviewing submissions from thousands of firms, analyzing public court and IP office records, and gathering feedback from attorneys and clients across the industry. Rankings consider expertise and reputation; current caseload; achievements during the prior year; long-term track record; and specific strengths within a practice area.
