Notable Successes

Desmarais LLP led Vault’s 2024 “Best Intellectual Property Speciality Law Firms” rankings in the U.S. for the fifth straight year in a row.

The firm has also been recognized in Vault’s “Top 150 Under 150” rankings and named a top-five midsize firm in New York. Additionally, Vault ranks Desmarais LLP as a leader in compensation, training, quality of work, and selectivity of associates hired out of law school.

“At its core, Desmarais is a trial firm, adept at handling all stages of litigation,” Vault wrote, adding, “Attorneys from Desmarais LLP have achieved multiple high-profile victories on behalf of the firm's clients.”

The Vault 2024 Rankings are based on responses from associates working in intellectual property practices at peer firms. From January through March 2023, Vault received feedback from more than 23,000 law firm associates for its Annual Associate Survey and announced the results in June 2023. Respondents are asked to rate firms with which they have familiarity, but they cannot rate their own firms.
