John Desmarais, founding partner of Desmarais LLP, has been named to the 2021 IAM Strategy 300 list, which highlights the world’s top intellectual property strategists.
 
“[O]nly those individuals who possess exceptional skill sets – as well as profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value – feature in the IAM Strategy 300,” a statement announcing the honorees said.
 
The IAM Strategy 300 includes individuals from law firms and other service providers, corporations, research institutions, and universities, who were selected for inclusion based on confidential nominations and discussions with leading members of the global IP community. To receive consideration, at least three people outside of the honoree’s organization needed to submit a nomination.
 
The IP practitioners on the list “are leading the way in the development and implementation of strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios,” IAM Strategy 300 said.
